Posidonia

This artwork was done towards the end of the second lockdown, but in many ways it was a return to some of my earlier work. it was painted in several stages, the last being the addition of strong colours in the orange part of the spectrum, quickly followed by removing areas of wet paint with a silicon-tipped brush. The result is a beautiful and dynamic painting. I decided to call it “Posidonia” after a species of seagrass, a marine flowering plant.

Posidonia is no longer available but if you like it I could try and do something similar on a no obligation commission.
