Indigo Dawn

The title comes from “Indigo Night” by Tamino, which I was listening to during part of the final stages of the painting. However, it didn’t feel like a night painting, so it was named “Indigo Dawn”. This also happens to be the title of an excellent song by Yizakat. It is painted with acrylic paint on stretched canvas. A variety of mark-making techniques were used and the painting has many levels of detail that can be appreciated at different distances. It is ready to hang and would look great in a variety of settings.

‘Indigo Dawn’ has sold to a collector in the UK, but you can commission a similar painting at any size if you wish.
