Don’t Be Scared, I Love You

This started as a trial piece for a much larger commission, but it worked out so well that I decided to make it available for sale. The title of the artwork is from a song by Bill Ryder-Jones which I was listening to whilst doing some of this painting. Vertical lines are used throughout the painting and these give it a feeling of a summer meadow viewed from ground level.  The painting is full of hope and was painted in the early days of the Covid-19 outbreak, before the lockdown in the UK.

This painting has sold to Friends of the Earth in Berlin, but if you like it I can paint something similar on a no obligation commission.
