Metropolis 15 is part of my attempt to capture the essence of a modern metropolis in a highly abstracted form. It is a modern, contemporary artwork that would look great in a wide variety of settings. It was painted with a variety of techniques, from conventional brushwork to wiping off paint to leave a faint impression of what had been there and using silicon-tipped brushes to remove paint and reveal the colours beneath.
