Morocco 4 is one of my favourite paintings. It tries in abstract form to capture the shapes and colours of Morocco – the souks, spice stalls and medinas. There is something a bit Klimt about it too. It includes some small areas of copper and metallic blue highlights. My work is greatly influenced by the hot colour palette of Mediterranean countries and Morocco keeps drawing me back. It would brighten up the plainest wall and would make a dramatic addition to any room. It is ready to hang.
