Singulart featured “Australia 5” in their Orange collection in January 2021. It is one of my favourite paintings and I will really miss it when it has gone.
Most of my work is given a title after it has been completed and left for a day or two. This one reminded me of the heat and colours of Australia, but others see different things in it. It is full of life and energy and will brighten up any room. One of my favourite painters is Gerhard Richter, maybe this comes out in some of my abstracts.
Australia 5 has recently sold to a collector in the UK. If you want I can paint something similar for you on a commission basis, but of course it won’t be identical. You can also obtain a canvas or paper print of this artwork from me.
