This started off as a carefully painted abstract, which I then over-painted in pale yellow and then removed this wet yellow paint with a silicon-tipped brush and a sponge. I like the fact you can see the shapes below but the dominant shapes are those caused by the sponge.
It would suit any location from a modern apartment to a period home. It looks great in our Victorian dining room (see in situ photo).
‘Emotional Rescue’ is no longer available, but if you like I can produce something similar on a commission basis.
