This abstract gets its title from a song by The Who, that I remember well from my youth. I always have music playing whilst I am painting. This painting is almost a monochrome, but the background is a bluey-grey. A wide variety of mark-making techniques were used, and the overall effect is a dynamic painting, full of life. It bears some similarities with the action paintings of Jackson Pollock. It would look great in a variety of settings, but may suit a modern home or apartment best. It is painted on plywood with a wooden frame behind. It is ready to hang.
I am interested in doing similar work for interior design, I think kitchen unit doors would look great in this style.
Substitute has now sold, but you can commission a similar painting.
