Motion and Emotion

This monochrome painting looks good either vertically or horizontally, so I haven’t signed it yet. If you are looking for a tall painting this one may be for you – see the additional photos. The background was painted grey then when it had dried grey paint was added, followed by white paint, a mixture of white and black paint and finally black paint. Although it is stylistically similar to the famous works by Jackson Pollock, the technique was more controlled, as I filled a small funnel with paint and used thumb pressure on the bottom of the funnel to change the flow rate. It is ready to hang in either horizontal or vertical format. It will be signed in the right place once it has been purchased.
