Sunset at Sea

I worked on this small painting for several weeks. I sometimes have smaller pieces on the wall in the studio and paint is added whilst I am working on other larger pieces. This produces a different kind of abstract, that grows organically and I am never quite sure how it might end up. The end result is a very abstracted seascape, with no attempt at reality. Despite this it invokes a feeling of being at sea on a lovely day in summer. It would suit a small wall best, especially one where it can be viewed close up. It is ready to hang.

‘Sunset at Sea’ is no longer available.
