This painting has gone through several iterations until I finally arrived at something that I was happy with. Processes included brushing on paint, printing paint on from another canvas, over-painting with copper paint and then removing areas of copper paint to reveal the painting below.
It would probably look best on a small wall where the viewer can get up close, as it is an intimate piece that deserves close attention.
It would suit anything from a modern apartment to a period home. It looks great in our Victorian dining room (see in situ photo).
The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
