Inspirations in this painting are very varied: things seen down my microscope in my career as an estuarine and marine biologist, aboriginal art, Indian and Islamic fabrics. It would suit a wide variety of settings, but as it is quite small it may look a bit insignificant on a large wall by itself. A more intimate space would probably be better. The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
All That Jazz is no longer available, but I could paint something similar on a commission basis.
