In March 2024 we were walking with friends, with a clear bright late afternoon light playing over the London suburb of Lewisham near Blythe Hill Fields. To the north the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf were beautifully lit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This painting is my most detailed yet, hence the higher than normal price. I think this is a quintessentially English scene, with the suburbs in the foreground, trees and church in the mid-distance , and skyscrapers in the distance. Even the sky is the normal blue for an English sky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artwork is very detailed, especially in the foreground. This painting needs to find a wall where it can be enjoyed at close distance as well as from farther away. It is ready to hang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canary Wharf has sold to a couple who live near this view. You can commission a painting of a view from your area, or get a print of this painting.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n
