This was initially intended to be an abstract but as I was painting it gradually became an abstracted landscape and finally I decided it looked like one of the many saltmarshes or marshlands that I have seen in my work as an aquatic ecologist. This painting has a hidden internal wooden frame and is ready to hang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marshland 1 has recently been donated by me to the Blue Cross animal charity and is no longer available. You can obtain a print of Marshland 1 from me if you like it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n
